From what I heard from Booteh, there is a bank of 8 G25s and monitors; £2 for 10 minutes in the FOX at Rockingham. Boothy is a complete maniac, but to me it all adds up and makes sense.
That race 3 was simply stunning! I watched open-mouthed at that lap of action with Herbert. Now, he was rough, but it was just brilliant touring car raicng. Probably the best moment of the season so far!
Why does it set a dangerous precedent? Either way, we are almost 100% sure that a laser-scanned version of Rockingham is existing in a version of LFS. Whether or not it's going to be released is another matter; but this thread is perfectly valid.
This is what Valve like to do with Team Fortress updates... Let the community stew for a few days and then throw it at them with an announcement or something. This is great!
Niall, just accept you're wrong and go back and spam somewhere else. I'm fed up of little kids like you ruining the entire LFS experience for anyone else who just wants to have some clean racing without controversy every once in a while. You're part of a plague that is gradually overcoming every aspect of the LFS community, and I wish you would stop, and piss off to some other community where your useless imput will be appreciated, because it certainly isn't appreciated here. I know I am not alone in thinking this; and this applies to all the other kids and adults alike who act like morons on this forum and in servers. You are ruining lfs.
Well, actually yes. We hear Tim Harvey harping on about this every year; if you hit the chicanes too hard in the opening laps, you're more likely to get a puncture [later on]. But it's not a direct cause for a puncture.
I wasn't expecting clean racing for this event, and there were a lot of controversial incidents. But we have to expect that for this league and any league similar to it.
I think the black and white flag thing caused some annoyance because some drivers were being warned while others were not. While I understand that it's hard to keep an eye on everyone, maybe there needs to be one or two more admins in the event.
I was disgusted by the amount of 'gogo go' and 'hurry up' and 'FAIL' during the end race screen and qualifying. It's always the same few little kids behaving like they're on some school field trip. They need to read the rules and grow up.
But, overall, I'm not to disappointed with the event; I got a decent haul of points and I believe I raced as clean and as roughly as I felt would be appropriate.
E: and apologies to Ken for my jumping to conclusions at the end of the event...

88 loses control of his car, after the first ramp. He seees there is an accident after the second ramp but continues to accelerate regardless. 02 is stranded in the middle of the road and 88 jumps directly into the side of 02, causing a lag spin and time lost.
