My memory is shocking sometimes. And it's the team principal, not chief engineer! [Edit, which is what you wrote]No way anyone can get past those KERS cars at this track. I've forgotten his name, but the chief engineer of Red Bull says there is "Bob Hope or no hope" of passing a KERS car if you don't have KERS on your car at this circuit. If McLaren take a decent grid slot, they will undoubtedly win the race.
To be fair, Bean0 was a significant competitor in the STCC, which was watched by several thousand people. I think that makes him 'worthwhile', as you say. Anyway, it's good to find out more about the familiar faces who don't always get their time in the spotlight.
It added a dimension of strategy to F1. And can you really say you'd rather have no passing than passing in in the pitlane due to strategy decisions? I can't say that. Some people might say this rule change could suck any excitement there is left in F1, out. I'm not going that far yet because I won't put-down this idea until I've seen it in action. It's just one of the possibilities.

That problem is Internet connection related. Your ping might be good, but you may be losing packets anyway. Are you using a wireless connection?

Use this; the best race I've ever had in LFS. It's now been 13 months since this race but it still hasn't been surpassed. This is from the days when NDR didn't exist, Wilko was still in W00T motorsports and minimaxman wasn't in SR.

My whole life just got very very real about an hour ago. I realised that it's now 15 days until I'm moving away to the University of Lincoln to start afresh with completely new people in a totally new place.

It's supposed to happen. When the game renders skins you get a slight pause/fps drop that was quite dangerous during races. So now LFS only renders skins when you've been stationary for 30 secs or spectated or pitted.
